Thanks to Dad for help over Christmas and a few late nights and busy weekends we managed to get the floor done in about two weeks... |

Tiling = Rough nasty hands

Buy some good hand cream as slate gets really tough on the hands; it has a tendency to dry them out... even worse when you're a soft shite working on computers all day! |

Finally the tiling is done... It's taken a few long weeks to get the tiling done, the end result looks fantastic but there have certainly been a few minor bumps along the way. The grouting is also done, I now have the utmost respect for anybody...
